Remarkable Families Symposium Building Resiliency in Families Raising Children with Special Needs
A Day of Networking The Remarkable Families Symposium presents the opportunity for families raising children with special needs to share resources with community organizations, support agencies and nationally recognized experts who work daily to support and strengthen this special group of people.
The symposium offers parents from the Tri-state a day of learning, networking and support. Resources for parents include government-funded support services, school districts, medical professionals and scholars, all gathered in one place to help them become more rhythmic, regenerative, reflective and ultimately more resilient.
Highlights The event is completely handicapped-accessible. The day includes lunch, dinner, a film and door prizes plus 30 workshops and activities. An all-day resource fair of vendors and area support agencies. The Anacrorhythms Band is performing before dinner. Access to the Internet is provided.
